When she filled out the family session questionnaire I knew she & I would be fast friends. She just wanted close ups of her baby’s chunky hands & thighs. And an illustration of their lives right now. She is SO DANG HAPPY & GRATEFUL for her life, her husband, her children. She didn’t want a pretty picture to post on facebook of what they “should” look like. She’s deeper than that. She’s sentimental and creative and she knows more than anything else that this childhood is fleeting.
Yes. I feel like we understood each other. And our time by the water was sacred and wild. Just like childhood is.
