When a fellow photographer contacts me for photos, my first reaction is excitement. I know photographers have an eye for imagery, so choosing me and my work is a GIANT complement. My second thought is fear. I am always so worried I will let them down. Photographing other families all the time, I know Danielle has a style and emotion she wants to get out of her session with me and I am so dang scared I’ll disappoint her.
Of course, she knew just the thing to say, texting me before our session that she wants her family as they are. Wild, messy, and all about connection. My favorite words. I knew we’d be a perfect match.
Add to all of it that they wore the best outfits, I think magic was in the air.
I couldn’t be happier with the results or my new friend.
