I first met Melody when her daughter was a toddler. She dressed her in a gorgeous dress and we photographed her with balloons. It was darling. Every year since I have looked forward to being with this family. But the most memorable is the session we did at her home with her mother and sister, as her mother was battling Cancer. These emotional photographs are some I know Melody treasures as the loss of her mom changed her life so dramatically. She and her kids and husband now travel and home school, making the most of every moment with their family. In town to see her sister, we made what was meant to be a children’s session a family affair with her gorgeous sister in tow. I adore these people and if you spent just one minute with them you would too. They value these memories and each other like no one else I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing your story with me.
