When I first met James, he was just days old. Fresh and sweet and teensy weensy. He had the sweetest toes and perfect little nose.
I recentlly got to catch up with Sweet baby James and you wouldn’t believe the changes. He’s got this belly laugh. It’s so sweet! And oh how he smiles. It melts me. James was in awe of the snow. He has wide eyes to the world. Full of wonder and magic. Oh, and he loves peek~a~boo and his mama.

So, After a minute outside we decided to warm up with a cupcake. You might think this little guy might take his time with a giant cupcake, but he was so quick to smash it I barely got a shot in! So much fun. James’s mom Christie went to Butler like me, so we had lots to catch up on and lots of laughing.
I adore this family. I am so grateful to get to photograph the first year of James Patrick’s life. And I have to add. . . while he’s not quite on the move, James is doing my absolute favorite baby thing! The SWIMMER. Love it and you guys!
